European Astronauts, European Astronaut Training

1789 1789 people viewed this event.

Let’s talk about how Astronauts are trained and how their training has changed in the past decades!

On April 12, it’s 60 years since Gagarin was the first human to reach outer space, and it was 40 years since the first reusable spacecraft, the Space Shuttle, set off on its two-day journey. Also this month, we can celebrate the 50th anniversary of the launch of the world’s first space station and the 25th anniversary of the completion of the first module space station.

And if we add the start of  the new astronaut selection of the European Space Agency, it is clear that there is much to talk about on April 12 – the International Day of Human Space Flight!
